It invests in equity and/or mezzanine financing for unlisted companies with an Entreprise Value of between €20 M and €300 M.

The current investment portfolio is representative of every sector of the economy.

One of Capzanine's greatest advantages is the wealth of professional experience represented in the members of its Advisory Board, who are consulted prior to any investment to benefit from their expertise and opinion (However, the final decision falls to the investment team).

Caroline BARRAL

Chairman of industrial holding company Société Financière du Cèdre. She is a member of the Advisory Board of several private equity funds.

What I appreciate about the role of the Advisory Board is that it is seen by Capzanine as a value added stage in the investment process. It is a real forum for discussion, something to which I attach a great deal of importance, and it is one of the most active of the Boards on which I sit.
I chose Capzanine for its original and pertinent positioning and for the professionalism and human qualities of its team.

Capzanine enjoys three major advantages: a culture of value creation gained through our experience in private equity; great financing flexibility since we have a substantial fund at our disposal, enabling us to invest in both equity and long-term financing; and, lastly, considerable latitude in our choice of partner banks thanks to our independence.

A family tradition of entrepreneurship and several years' experience working with SMEs on behalf of investment funds have enabled us to refine our knowledge of the industrial fabric in France. We founded Capzanine to offer hybrid long term financing solution to bring the cost of financing below that of traditional private equity investment.

Capzanine abides by the professional code of practice laid down by AFIC (French Private Equity Association) and drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Code Monétaire et Financier (French Monetary and Financial Code).

This means applying procedures addressing issues such as confidentiality of information, conflicts of interest, anti-money-laundering, investment and divestment transactions.

Bénédicte de Tissot is Head of Compliance and Internal Control at Capzanine.

Regularly, Capzanine invites business leaders to come together and discuss company financing needs. They are also consulted on investment opportunities under consideration by the fund, and invited to bring their specialist sector knowledge to bear.
